La ROCQUE, Mary (nee Tucker) In loving memory of Mary (nee Tucker) La Rocque, 65 years, who passed away Sunday afternoon, April 25, 2004 peacefully at home, lovingly cared for by her husband, daughter and Cathy Presot, surrounded by her family. Born in Black's Harbour, New Brunswick, she worked for many years as a dedicated Nurse at Pioneer Manor where she was an outstanding caregiver and loved by the residents. Mary was a devout Roman Catholic, a member of Christ the King Church, the CWL and the Daughters of Isabella. She enjoyed antiques, gardening and spending time at her camp on Black Lake. The light of her life was always family, no sacrifice was too big for her husband, daughter or especially her granddaughters. Mary will be greatly missed by all who loved her and remembered as a person who did the ordinary things in life, extraordinarily well. Beloved wife of Allan La Rocque of Sudbury. Loving mother of Wendy (husband John Sallows) of Sudbury. Cherished grandmother of Tessie Paradis (friend Matt Richter) and Chrissy Paradis. Dearest daughter of Murray and Theresa (Wallace) Tucker and stepdaughter of Gordon Munro all predeceased. Dear sister of Joyce Kimber of Kingston, predeceased by Thomas. Sadly missed by her pup "Taffy." Resting at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St. Funeral mass in Christ the King Church Friday, April 30, 2004 at 10 am. Interment in the St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Flowers would be appreciated. Prayers 3 pm Thursday. (Friends may call 6-9 pm Wednesday or 2-5 and 7-9 pm Thursday). - 4/29/2004 - ID3860237
