FINDLAY, Mildred At the St. Joseph General Hospital in Elliot Lake on May 5th, 2002. Beloved wife of the late Keith Findlay. Loving mother of Wilfred (Diana) of Sault Ste. Marie, Larry (Jackie) of Dowling and Charlene Frost (Ted) of Massey. Dear grandmother of Paul (Shauna), Michael (Linda), Sean (Kelly), Scott, Shannon, Steve, Melanie Duguay (Luke), Kimberley Frost-Garant (Steve), Christine (Ricky Perron) and the late David and Stacey. Dear grandmother of Britney, Sheralyn, Justin, Mitchell, Brittany, Lindsay, Cole, Taylor and Ryan. Dear sister of Marion Findlay (Ernie) and the late Charlie Green, Ralph Green (Mary), Evelyn Hargrave (Hector) and Jean Green. Also survived by one sister-in-law Jean Green. Mildred’s kindness and generosity will always be remembered by her family with whom she had a great love for and shared much time and memories. She was a member in the United Church Women, was an avid gardener, enjoyed music and dance, socializing, loved to crochet, did much sewing and found the time to play shuffleboard between visits with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Tuesday May 7th, 2002 at the Holy Trinity United Church in Elliot Lake from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 3:00 p.m. The Reverend Brian Bigelow officiating. Cremation to follow. Memorial contributions to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
