Victorian Carrier, of Hearst Death: August 11th, 2002 Victorien Carrier, of Jogues, died at Notre-Dame Hospital on Aug. 11, 2002 He was 80 years old. He was born on Nov. 19, 1921 in Quebec. He was a welder. He was a member of the Golden Age Club and Singles Club. He enjoyed playing pool and playing darts. He was predeceased by his daughter Germaine Bérube, brother Gerard Carrier. He is survived by his friend Gabrielle Pontbriand of Hearst, five sons André of Hearst, Robert (Lise) of Jogues, Germain (Christine) of Hearst, Victor (Cindy) of Oakville, Denis (Monique) of Hearst, two daughters Hélène (Robert) Mayce of Hamilton, Denise Domoney of Hearst, two sisters Ida Chartrand of Sault Ste. Marie, Anita Gino of Ottawa, one brothers René Carrier of Hearst, and 16 grandchildren. Services were held on Aug. 13 at the Cathedrale. Rev. Remi Lessard performed the service. Interment took place at Jogues Cemetery. Donations can be made to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Society. Published on August 14th, 2002
