Marjolaine D. Madore, of Hearst Death: September 28th, 2002 A memorial service for lifelong Hearst area resident Marjolaine D. Madore, 39, of rural Lot 4, Concession V, Way Township near Jogues is to be held, Friday morning. She died during the early morning of Sept. 28, 2002 at Notre-Dame Hospital following a sudden illness as she was driving youths home. Born July 6, 1963 in Hearst, she was a child care monitor at what is now the municipal Parent Resource Centre since 1990, and enjoyed hunting, fishing and painting. Predeceased by her mother Jeannine Madore in 1995, she leaves her husband Joseph Cantin of Way Twp, a daughter Josée and son Benoit Cantin. Also surviving are her sisters Florence (Henri) Tremblay of Opasatika and Suzie (Gérald) Payeur of Timmins, and brothers Ghislain (Denise) and André (Francine) Bourgon, all of Hearst, and Jean-Yves (Charlotte) Madore of Fauquier. Cremation was carried out at the Hillcrest Crematorium in Matheson. Rev. Rémi Lessard is to officate the service at Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption Cathedral.
