Robert 'Bob' Lee White, Ph.D. May 03, 1928 - January 02, 2002 (Retired Professor of Humanities and English at York University, Toronto) Passed away peacefully at Princess Margaret Hospital, Toronto on Wednesday, January 2, 2002. Robert (Bob) White loving husband of Denise. Dear father of Lisa and her husband Richard Ziegler, Michelle and Emily. Cherished grandfather of Conrad, Kristina, Sarah and Grace. Robert will be missed by his sister Patricia White of Louisville, Kentucky and his mother-in-law Coula Costis. Friends will be received at the Sherrin Funeral Home, 873 Kingston Road (west of Victoria Park Ave.), Toronto (416-698-2861) on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Saturday, January 5, 2002 at 11 o’clock.
