Arthur Leon Clairmont October 22, 1922 - August 28, 2002 Peacefully, at home, surrounded by his family, on Wednesday, August 28, 2002, Arthur Clairmont, in his 80th year. Beloved husband and soulmate of Rosemarie (nee Salkeld) for 44 years. Loving father of Dwight (Moreen), Colleen (Jim) Garritson, and Tim (Ardeen). Adored Papere of Lisa (Fred), the late Jason, Scott (Deborah), Carrie, Rebecca, Andy, Chad, Alyssa, and Joel, and great-grandfather of Dyllan, Brogan, Brooke, and Brandon. Survived by one sister, Irene Jolley, and brother- in-law of Lena Clairmont, and Roger Chaput. Predeceased by his sisters Augustine, Bertha, Mary, and Marie, and by his brothers Daniel, Eugene, Oscar, David and Homer. Mr. Clairmont was a member of the Painters Union, Local 1005, for over 30 years. Visitation at the P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 796 Upper Gage Avenue (between Fennell and Mohawk), on Thursday and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with Parish Prayers on Friday at 2:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church on Saturday, August 31 at 10:00 a.m. Cremation. Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
