Thomas "Chuck" Charles Fiddler - August 12, 1942 - May 21, 2004 -With deep sorrow we announce the passing away of our dearly beloved brother, uncle and father, Thomas Charles Fiddler, better known as “Chuck” (T.C.F.), at the Percy E. Moore Hospital in Hodgson, Manitoba at 10:30 a.m. On May 21st, 2004 with his family members at his side. Chuck was born on August 12, 1942 at Peguis First Nation. He is survived by his children, Derrick Charles (Madeline) of Sioux Lookout, Ontario, Tanya Fiddler of Winnipeg, Crystal Cheyeann Halcrow (Dwayne Packo) of Norway House; his grandchildren, Stephen Monias of Norway House, Christie & Storm Fiddler of Winnipeg, Kayla Muskego of Norway House and Deanna Rose; his brothers, Percy (Sheron) of Peguis and Henry (Margaret) of Peguis; his sisters, Jenny (Harry St. Germaine) Johnston of Winnipeg, Rhoda (Ray) Mason of Peguis, Thelma (Steve) MacKay of Peguis, Louise (Wally) Keiller of Winnipeg and Linda (Danny) Webb of Peguis; and many nieces and nephews. Chuck was predeceased by his parents Harry Fiddler and Connie Smith; his brother-in-law Robert Forster and his uncle Ventrice Fiddler. Chuck will be dearly missed by his family and many friends from all over. He will be always remembered for his big heart, his hard work, his generosity and his good nature. Throughout his life, he loved to work in his garden, look after his yard, dig seneca roots, feed the birds and snare rabbits in the winter. Chuck loved to give away things that would make other people happy. He took special pride in everything he did and never asked much for his hard work. Everyone who knew him for his good deeds, will always remember him for a job well done. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at the St. Matthew’s Anglican Church, Peguis, MB on Monday, May 24th, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Wesley Barrett & Rev. Barry Bear officiating. The family is very grateful for the Peguis Chief & Council, the Percy E. Moore Hospital staff, and all the friends who visited during this time.
