MCDONNELL, Alexander "Alex" (Retired 30 year employee with O.M.C. and member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #52) - Peacefully at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Rogers Street Site on Tuesday, May 14, 2002 in his 78th year. Alex, former husband of Betty McDonnell. Dear father of Ian, Laurie (Dean) Paudash and Heather (Jeff) Harrison. Loving grandpa of Sean, Michelle, Melissa, Jeremy, Danielle and Rachel. Brother of Marg (Fred) Forster (Keene). Brother-in-law of Joy McDonnell (Florida). Predeceased by his parents Wilfred & Maude (nee Kress) McDonnell and his brother Gordon. There will be a service by The Royal Canadian Legion at 3:00 p.m. and the funeral service will be held following in the chapel of the COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street, Peterborough, (705) 745-4683, on Thursday, May 16, 2002. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. The Reverend William Peacock will be officiating.
