Peacefully after a lengthy illness, on Tuesday, January 15, 2002, at Hamilton General Hospital. Dearly beloved husband of Maria for 47 years. Cherished and deeply loved father of Betty and her husband Michael Cameron, Kathy and her husband Elias Tannous, Richard and his wife Annie and Victor Jr. and his wife Michele. Dear grandfather of Elizabeth, Nicholas, Christina, Suzanne, Christopher, Michael and Victoria. Is loved and sadly missed by his sister-in-law Anna Rutkowski, fondly remembered by his brothers and sisters-in-law, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Victor was predeceased by his parents John and Theophilia, his brothers John and Walter and his sister Bronia. Friends will be received by the family on Wednesday and Thursday afternoon and evening between the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 at the Cattel, Eaton and Chambers Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas. Prayer Vigil Thursday evening at 7 o'clock. Funeral to ST. AUGUSTINE'S CHURCH, corner of Sydenham and Melville Streets in Dundas for Eucharistic Liturgy on Friday at 11 o'clock. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Mausoleum. Expressions of sympathy to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Society would be appreciated.
