Peter BOMFORD

Public Service, Retired Department of Trade & Commerce In hospital, after a short illness, on Monday, January 28, 2002 age 82 years. Son of the late Maude Margaret Bomford (Hamilton). Dear father of Julian (Rashika) and Mark (Gail). Brother of Margaret (R.L. Duffy). Grandfather of Nicholas and Christopher. Also survived by nieces Emmi (Mark), and Sarah, great nieces Abigail, Alice, Madeline and Catherine and nephew Paul. Also will be missed by dear friends Michael and Helene and their sons Mathieu, Dominik, David and Paul. Peter was a founding executive member of Ottawa Clock & Watch NAWCC Chapter 111 and editor of Bytown Times for nearly a quarter century. He loved to read, create art, write, cook and converse. Friends may call at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Road at Roosevelt, Ottawa on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until time of funeral service in the chapel at 11 a.m. Cremation.
